About the Photographer
Ziyah (b.1980, Sarajevo) studied Comparative Literature in Sarajevo. His photo essay on Bosnia was published by Thames & Hudson in the 2003 book Tales from a Globalizing World. Awards include World Press Photo, the Joop Swart Masterclass, Photo District News and the Getty Images Grant for Editorial Photography. His work has been published in Amica, La Repubblica, TIME, Tank, The Telegraph Magazine, Newsweek, L’Espresso, among others.
